Seat Belts Hymer (1 Viewer)

Hey all
I am the proud owner of a lovely 1989 Hymer B544 but need advice.
I would like to fit a couple of lap belts to the rear forward facing seats, does anyone know someone / where I can have this done? I am in the Scottish Borders.

I doubt you'll find anyone. To the best of my knowledge lap belts are longer fitted in any motorhome because of the dangers they pose. Any type of belt requires a very substantial connection to the vehicle structure - something pretty hard to achieve at the rear of a motorhome.

Because of the construction of Motorhomes, seat belts require large reinforced metal frames that are fixed to the chassis. Very expensive after fit. Unlikely to find anyone to fit them due to legal implications if someone was injured in an accident.
