While we were in Ypres my sat belt locked up in the fully retracted position. I tried to release it but just ended up with a pile of springs and internals. So the question is, is the seat belt likely to be a standard Fiat unit (Fiat engine, steering etc) or Something Frankia (A Class) have ordered in from somewhere else?
A secondary question is, I managd to get the seat belt to work as an old fashioned non-inertia type but would this pass the MOT which is due soon after our return to the UK? Obviously this would only be in the event of non availability of a replacement belt.
