Can anyone help,i want to know the best sealant to use to seal x250 scuttle to w/screen to tried this around 10 months ago but it dident work.

The best sealants (whatever anyone says) are yacht sealants such as Sekaflex (I think that's how its spelt). Try a chandler, or on line.

Sikaflex is good for fixing things onto your van such as solar panels and trim panels but is ( in my opinion) far too "permanent" to use on the scuttle. Try a commercial silicone, such as that used for bathrooms etc. That can then be removed at a later date (if necessary )..

It might be an ideal to go to the Sikaflex web site and ask the question but I have to say there are many commercial products out there today that equal and in some cases better Sikaflex especially price wise
