Any help with this from sat nav / pc gurus would be appreciated please. Sat nav (win CE 6 ) loaded with i GO8 . A ( so far) good reliable unit .Anyway , fancied trying another version of the mapping .Downloaded this on to a microsd card with no problems . However, when opening up unit to use , it shows message " set the GPS path " .Which is :
\sdmmc\igo8\igo8.exe .
Question ,,,,,, ( step by step guide would be very much appreciated ) where and how do you name or input this path ,as sd card naming convention apparently does not allow \ / and various other characters ? No matter what I do an error message , reference these not allowed characters comes up.
Have tried via usb cable from pc direct to sat nav. Also with card in a usb card reader. Just cannot get naming done either way.
