she wasonly encouraged to take
her pupils/children outside
to play in the snow

and it wasnt even break time

My missus would heartily agree - when she was a junior school teacher she referred to is as 'taking time to catch the snowflakes'.

Mind you, look what happened not so long ago to the High School Design and Technology teacher who allowed two students to ride their own ski-bike on snow in the school grounds. Sacked for not filling in the appropriate risk assessment paperwork.

She did the right thing at least
but beware the HSE and Thought police
it all makes proper common sense
but Councils think in pounds and pence.:Eeek::Eeek:
