I have had a TomTom 700 now for just over 7 years and have been very pleased with it (it covers the UK and Western Europe) If i decide to replace it has anyone any thoughts on the best model to get. We do most of our travelling in Europe and am not sure whether it is necessary to go for ones where you need to key height and widths. Must say i have always liked the TomTom set up and map presentations. I may need to look at a larger coverage area than western Europe also

Just last night saw someone using a tablet as a sat nav. It must have been at least a 10" screen, probably bigger, on a wobbly mount that must have obscured a sizeable fraction of his field of view.
