More than toes wet now!
Honestly couldn't say which is the best option (I prefer analogue for ease of reading) but you'll get either on Amazon, e-Bay, etc for less than half the price of Maplins!

since 2006 ( I think ! )
I have played with a digi one and was suitably impressed.
It allowed me to enter the sat I wanted and then ignored the others.. which meant no false starts and wondering if I was on the right bird !

@tinkering If you've got an iPhone, why not just use an App called 'Dish Align'. It gives pictorial and audible display and other info too.
It's very good and FREE!

Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
A better one for the iPhone ( app store ) is Satfinder as it will allow you to point your iPhone at the sky and a little satellite appears and you line it up with the "arrows" - simple to use and very quick.
