I would be most grateful if anyone could recommend a Vet they have experience of in or around Saintes, it's only for the Pet Passport that my little pal has been through many times, however, he's so nervous and can get a little aggressive because he's so scared that the whole exercise is extremely traumatic for both of us.

A recommendation for an understanding Vet might settle both of us down.

Many Thanks,
Brian.

Getting better month by month.
All of the vets on the map are recommended for one reason or another. It isn't just a list, but a list of those whom Funster have used and would recommend to others. Read the descriptions and make your choice. Good luck and hope all goes well and the pooch stays calm.

I'm a newbie
We used the vet in St Savinien for our cats passport, they were extremely helpful and professional and only about 8kms from Saintes.

How I understand you... My small( very small!!) Toy Poodle Licorice used to be very agressive when at the vet. I remember the lady at the reception desk going "Oh Dear ... Mister Rotweiller is here today"
They were very helpfull, we used to be 3 to hold the little devil... but sorry I live next to Toulouse... too far away from Saintes. Now of course I could have a word with the vet you might find in that area to explain your prob if it can make things easier for both of you, especially if you're not at ease with French. Just give me a shout on here by tagging me @yodeli
Hope things will go smoothly

Amicalement,
Frankie:)

Meg, our tricolour is a real hypochondriac and loves the vet. When the vet calls her we have to let go the lead or be dragged into his room.

Bit late in reply guessing you are already sorted but the next time you are in the area we know two good vets in Gemozac 17260 and Cozes 17120, our preference would be for the Cozes and bonus, they speak English too.
