We have just heard we have lost our dearest friend Jean after a 5 year battle with cancer so if you read this remember do all the things you want to do in life because your dreams & hopes can easily be shattered happy travels Rod

really sorry to hear your news Rod. As you say make the most of every day. I had hoped you might make an appearance at my birthday bash next week but guess you will be busy now and not in the mood to party anyway.

Very sorry to hear of your sad loss our thoughts are with you, i lost my mother in law just 2 months ago to Cancer also its an awful disease.

It was losing a friend a couple of years younger than us that made us retire early and use our van a lot more.
He had just retired from the firebrigade only 2 years and had a heart attack. Certainaly gave us a shock on our mortality and made us determined to live life to the full.
