I am in the process of changing the rubber hoses on my gas bottles for s/steel ones from gaslow. The only problem is that my van has a comfortmatic system from trauma and the fittings do not fit the gaslow fittings meaning I cannot use the safety cut out buttons on the original rubber hoses. We never have our heating on when we are travelling but it means I shall have to turn the gas off when travelling. Anybody got any suggestions, somebody must have encountered this problem before.

Yes you will have to turn the bottles off.

Why do you want to change them ? Bob.

The old rubber hose are 6 years old and I am a bit wary of the sticky goo problem.
