After some help I am now using the RSS feed. I'm using it in MS Outlook and receive the first post of any thread that's updated. This isn't what I expected - the point of using Outlook was to avoid opening the website to read posts so I would have expected the feed to forward the most recent post each time one is posted on an existing thread. As far as I can see the feed simply replicates the option of receiving an email every time a thread on which I posted is updated - except that it does it for any thread that's updated. Is it me?
