Just get pi**ed off at the constant Swift bashing on the forum,

Still, we are all motorhomes at heart. We can't be all bad.

The time for suing is 6 years but it can depend on the knowledge of the claimant if you didn't know until now and if you intend suing them you have a duty (mitigating any loss) to commence proceedings as soon as possible. As they have (wrongly in my opinion) refused liability you can start by sending them an LBA ('letter before action') giving them 14 days to respond after which you can issue a claim in your local county court

The fault is clearly an inherent vice in that it occurred during the build of a number of their vans AND more importantly they knew about it
