Hello we are Rosie & Michael, we love touring France & in the winter we love to go down to Portugal. We have an Elnagh motorhome which suits us fine & is always loaded ready for the off!! We find France is such a wonderful motorhome friendly country with aires which are mostly hard standing whereas UK doesn't have motorhome aires or allow too much wild camping although we "Spend where we park". Why would we want to pay an enourmous amount on a campsite , parked on grass when we are heavier than caravans & have our own toilet, shower, cooker water etc?? We think Motorhomes should be treated differently to Caravans.

Hi and welcome to FUN, as to us being treated differently, that is up to us to try and change the attitudes of those who make the decisions. ;)

Hi and Welcome
I don't agree cos caravans also have toilets, showers, cooking facilities etc The only thing they don't have which we do is an engine

Welcome. We use both, aires and campsites. Aires can be cheap and convenient but sometimes to get the best location it has to be a site.
