Hi all

My bus has a rarely used older unit (Colman mach III) that ran perfectly until last week. I noticed that when i state the Generator it runs fine until the air-co is switched on. During the cycle to start the compressor, the generator slows right down as if it was going to stall for about 10 seconds, compressor does not start, then fan resumes normal speed for a couple of minutes. It then lugs down again (fan also) for the 10 seconds or thereabouts, then resumes normal fan operation for a couple of minutes or so. It’s like it cycles for the compressor and when it doesn't start, it waits a certain period then does it all again.

Does anyone have any ideas or can tell me a good place to get it looked at, I am in Liverpool, so local northwest would be good!

Thanks' all!

certainly not of much help but you should always run the unit for a couple of mins every month to keep it lubed and the refridgerant circulated. :thumb::thumb:

also applies to car air-con as well.
