roof cowl from heater (1 Viewer)

roof cowl missing likely cause could it be knocked off would it let water if left are they easy to fit

I assume it's just the very top you've lost, not the whole chimney outlet (which goes through the roof).

Lost mine to trees in Scotland once, but luckily heard it go and saw it bouncing off down the road behind me:Smile:.

Stopped, picked it up, and banged it back into place.

Easy enough if you can get access to the top (luckily, that 'van was the only one I've had that had a ladder).

Pretty widely available, but if you're struggling, www.olearymotorhomes.co.uk do both the top, and the full through-the-roof bit.

I had one of those on my previous van. I picked up a spare from a tree on a CL.

Seems they grow on trees! :Smile:

They are a screw fit which tends to vibrate loose when travelling. When you fit a replacement use some torque lock to prevent it from loosening.
