I'm sat facing a quite nice (wife says so) Notin Chicago A class on merc chassis.
It has these external blinds that I've never seen before.
I wonder if they're retro fittable

They look like the lockable roller shutters you see on many properties in Europe.

By all accounts Notin have fitted them since 2006.Additionally the part you are looking at is actually the the outer part of the window & when you open it the shutter part hinges outward from the top. They can also be opened with the shutter part up ,down or in any position.That was how they used to work.

Ive seen a few Notin's fitted with these.

I think it looks a good idea for sun/security

They are on some older models, but I have wondered how reliable they are? how do they cope with dust which could be blown in to the rear sections at 70mph when you are travelling.

Also the one Notin I managed to have a look in was 'very french' in design as I recall.

I've also seen them on Notin motorhomes, strange you only see them on them.

We too have seen several Notins with these blinds fitted and we both made the comment that from a security point of view they looked a very good idea. However we have never seen a van with them open so have no idea of practicality.

I have them on my Peugot motorhome and am looking for the missing parts. They were made by a company called Seitz Rolf.
Can anyone help ?

What parts do you need? If they're plastic or can be remade in plastic, there are a couple of members who do a bit of 3d printing ....? Perhaps that might help you out?

It is the 2 parts at the top sides of the shutter, in black. Not sure what theyre made of but I’ll check and get back to you. Thanx again.
