    Now I'm not cool and don't get out enough, so that's my excuse for not understanding the rash of Rofl1's that are around or the meaning...

    Yes yes yes I'm with Rofl, just asked a mate, but where does the 1 come in?

    Unsure where you have seen this but if on this forum...

    You will find a good deal of weird words that were used to show a smilie on the old forum.
    This forum uses different codes to display a smilie ( for instance to show a wink the code is : then a )

    on the old forum it would have been a : then the word wink then another :

    I have seen it on some of what I presume are transitional threads across old and new formats

    Sometimes the smilie does not appear but the text equivalent does

    ROFL1 I presume is the text way to write the smilie

    Jim posted something a couple of weeks ago where some of the smilies he types rather than using the icon option

    I have trouble enough remembering my own name
