Hi
If anyone is in is area of the Romantic Rhine thinking of arriving or departing on the 29 /06/14 .Roads on both banks of the Rhine are closed for a car free event when everyone can cycle or roller skate on both roads . The roads closed are between Bingen and Koblenz and The Rudesheim ferry and Lahnstein . The closure begins at 10 am and ends 6pm . Sounds like fun if you know about it but a bit of a pain if you arrive and hoped to stay in the area that night .
