Ripping DVD to HD (1 Viewer)

I have a DVD set which i'm looking to rip onto my hard drive but have never done this before.

The dvd's are in NTSC format and I know if I can get them to my hard drive in a file, i can convert them into PAL. Thats just one obstacle. The second is they are copy protected.

I have Nero 7 Ultra, Real Player and ULead.

Which is the best to use or am I on a non-starter with them being copy protected? The dvd's play ok through my PC but i'd like to watch them on my television.

why not play though media player then just save a copy.

For making backup copies of DVDs, I use either DVD Decrypter, RipIt4Me or DVDShrink.
All are freeware and easy to find.

I'll give this decrypter a go.
Just downloaded it so will see if it does the job.

To rip copy protected you need anydvd by slysoft
