Luis Salom was today killed practicing for the Moto2 GP. A talented young rider taken too early.
Sad time RIP Luis Salom
Sad but thankfully very rare now.
What a shame a very talented rider.
What happened, was it a freak accident on his own ? Thoughts go to his family.
From what I've seen, yes it was .bike hit protective barrier first & he appeared to hit bike as he followed it in & bike rebounded back. very sad.R.I.P
Very sad news.
So was Simonceli, these things happen.
Sad but better than being in an aged persons home soaked in piss.
He's the second guy killed this year isn't he? I read about another death a few days ago.
I wonder if eventually the current trend for safe circuits will eventually catch up with the TT?
Edit: Sorry, another brain fart, this was the Cataluña GP. Nothing to do with the TT.
I've not seen the recording yet, but am very sad when a rider loses his life, RIPLuis.
No problem. Death is part of the equation but non like the TT when every year they are automatic and accepted. Non of the riders complain, better to live life to the full than just live. A bit tough on the families.
You were military, nowt you don't know about death. At least your deaths can be justified. Give or take Blair.
