Advice, please. I have posted here as it should be a generic question, but the vehicle is a 2005 Citroen.
I have had a problem for a while with the window being reluctant to open, which was sorted by a squirt of silicon lubricant all round the seal. Now it refuses to budge. I have run a paint scraper all round the seal, inside and out and am satisfied that it isn't sticking there. Of course, it could be sticking at the edge of the glass.
I can hear a click each time I operate the switch, both up and down. I have the interior panel off and have tried to move the window by pulling on the drive wire whilst operating the switch, but to no avail.
Any thoughts, please?
Is it a new drive motor that is required?
Thanks,
John
