Hi all I hope the weather is not getting you down dry to wet ,just fitted a reversing camera to our Chausson Welcome 85, number plate wireless type, put van in reverse no light checked camera with 12 volt power and all worked well ,does anyone know the fuse number and rating for the reversing light so I can check, do you have to have engine running to get light to work Regards Robert.

You do need the ignition switched on. The engine doesn't need to run.

    Fuse is F31

Assuming you had the ignition switched on it is far more likely to be the reverse light switch on top of the gearbox, they're a fairly regular problem area. Not terribly difficult to change but easiest to remove the air filter and associated pipes first, then the clutch slave and its bracket. You'll need a deep 22mm socket to undo the switch itself. DO NOT press the clutch while the slave is dismounted!
