Having been declared officially pants at reversing I was wondering if anyone had any experiance with the inexpensive wireless systems on ebay.

I really do need all the help I can get.

Hi

From what I have experienced with cameras I would go for a hard wired model.

I know that they are more expensive but in my opinion are worth it in the end, after all you get what you pay for. When I first got a motorhome with a camera fitted a good friend had a wireless one on his van and immediately changed for a wired system as he said it was so much better, I think that speaks for itself. As far as I know they can be interfered with by outside influences, but perhaps others know different.

Hope this helps with your decision.

PS I rely on mine totally at times as I have no rear window, and mirrors don't always help in the dark.

Experience says that when you really need it, it won't work. Wired are better, but front to back cabling on many models must be a right pain:whatthe:

wireless are not really suitable for a motorhome, the distance is too great. Hard wired every time. This 7" reversing monitor and camera is fitted to my van and gives supurb results it has switchable inputs for 2 cameras and the extra cameras are cheap.
