Ok so not being a whizz on vehicle electrics I bought a wireless reversing camera thinking I would be clever. What I failed to realise was that the camera needed a power supply. Instructions say to take it from a nearby supply but where is that?
Any help appreciated

many many years! since I was a kid
wire the live supply to the reversing light circuit and negative to the vans chassis. the monitor usually has a cig lighter plug on. that way the camera switches on when you select reverse. if you want to use it as a rear view camera, it needs an ignition switched live running from front to rear of the van

Good idea if you just want a reversing camera. If you want a rear view camera (used while driving) you will need a different live feed.

Or just suck it up, chuck it in the bin and buy a decent wired system which will never suffer interference.
