My reversing camera (Vision) has suddenly started behaving oddly.

When I brake, it now switches to close-up reversing mode...
When I indicate left, it also switches, and the 'ticker' goes hyper.

As far as I can tell, all the lights behave as they should.

Any ideas?
It was only fitted (by CamperUK) a couple of months ago... so I'm sure they'll fix it under guarantee - but as its an hour each way, I was wondering if there might be an easy fix?

Could well be a bad Earth on the rear light cluster,
A bad earth will make all kinds of strange faults, get somebody at the back and check all your lights are working correctly including the reversing lights,

You could be right... Just been out, left indicator flashes red rear light & brake light with actual amber indicator lamp glowing feebly.

Is it an easy / quick / cheap fix?
Or are elecktrickery problems logging ke this a nightmare to locate & fix?

If it should be cheap'n'quick then I don't mind paying the local guy but if its going to be a b*gger, a couple of hours, then I schlep back to CamperUK...

Could be as simple as bad connection on 1 or both of plugs that go to light cluster.
Remove cluster, pull plug off and push on 2 or 3 times.
Copper grease also will help and stop them doing it again.

A good chance the fitter connected the camera earth to the rear light clusters earth connection then did a crap job of checking functionality.

The cluster should have just one common earth to chassis for all the rear lights

Not advisable to put copper grease on any electrical contact at all. Copper is one of the best conducters of electric and could quite easily cause you more problems.

Quite possibly, but in fairness all has been working normally until yesterday.
So, something has gone awry or was poorly connected in the first place.

Thanks @ivorantony @Larby (y)
Local guys it'll be then (unless I can see something, having a butchers underneath)
I'm sure its easy for you guys but I'm someone who gets my local mechanic to change my car's lightbulbs... Mind you he does them cheaper than I can buy the bulbs from Halfords!

Conclusion:
Nathan at Hollis & Brown had a quick look this morning - and you were all right (y).
The reversing camera was tightly attached to the connector block but that pushfit connector wasn't completely clicked in...
