Hello everyone
I've been retired 18months now and my wife is going to retire at end of July. We bought an 09 Autosleeper Amethyst last September - we had been thinking of buying a van for a while but didn't set out that day intending to spend a fortune. This one was too good to miss though.
No regrets yet. Have spent several weekends away in Yorkshire already throughout the winter and have taken it to Scotland for rally marshalling weekend. Week in Norfolk planned soon + 10 days on Mull in October. :thumb: Can't wait.

Well if that doesn't put you off nothing will.

Get thee to Europe, what motorhomes were made for.

PS.....

In MH terms the UK is not in Europe.

Well I was a French teacher, and we've really enjoyed holidays in France and Austria in the past, so I guess the trip abroad won't be too long coming.

Hi and welcome to fun. I retired last week and went straight from work to what was meant to be four nights away in the MH but extended it to a week. Now resupplying for our six week trip and busy looking at other dates in the diary for future trips! Enjoy!

Welcome, I'm sure you will have a fantastic time in your motorhome. I've been retired over 3 years now, waiting for my wife to retire in November then it's off to New Zealand for 7 weeks before we do the Compostela to Santiago in Spain which we hope to take 3 months to do.
