Sent off a letter to DVLA in October to change Motorhome taxation class to Private HGV ; revenue weight to 4500kg ; wheel plan to 3-axle-rigid ; number of seats to 4.
All of these were wrong when the vehicle was registed at importation - the weight was 3500kg, seat =2 ; axle =2, taxation PLG.
Sent letter requesting changes & photos of outside showing axles and identification plates attatched around various points on the van.
Expected a lot of tooing and frooing & arguing but pleasantly surprised to receive back an ammended V5c with everything changed and a letter saying they were going to refund overpaid road tax for the last 2 years.
