Reprogramming sf-500 satellite meter (1 Viewer)

Has anyone reprogrammed an sf-500 digital satellite finder meter. They come pre configured with a lot of Far East satellites but I want to use the European satellites presumably from 30W through to 30E. I think I only need to put in one or two transponder frequencies for each satellite for the meter to be able to lock on to the correct one. Have to get my head round symbol rate, frequencies, LO stuff etc. etc.
Have looked at lyngsat and other sites but don't think I need that much info.
