I have just been trying to help a friend with Bongo campervan with electric problems, have been on and off it all week getting no ware fast. We tested just about everything until we found the problem, and so, so simple. The original problem was the alternator failed. Taking out the main 100 amp fuse. On checking it had gone to earth. So replaced with new of each. No problem even easy to get at. Then it blow another 100 amp fuse, checked it out can’t find a problem so made a homemade fuse and all well. Got a new 100 amp fuse and a spare put the new fuse in, blow it. So rechecked all again can find no problem put the last fuse it blow.
To get to the end of the story, it was the ebay replacement fuses, so if you have the same or similar problem might just save a load of time and trouble if you get a quality part in the first place.
