We need a new TV/DVD player for our motorhome as the viewing angles
on our Currys model are terrible. Having looked at many websites we are considering the Avtex L185DR. I know these are the dearest on the market but the reviews seem good. 12v/240v with inbuilt voltage stabilisation also sound good. Any advice/reviews would be greatly appreciated before we part with our hard earned cash. :thumb:

Hi Grasscutter,we very recently purchased a tv/dvd combi from this company (www.cubik12volt.co.uk) whilst at the Newark Show the viewing angles are as good as an Avtek and its also LED and very slim and light with very low power consumption.
They all come with HD,but only the large 24" is full 1080P the smaller versions being 720P.

Well worth having a look at:thumb:
Happy hunting,

We bought an Avtex W193D last year and have been very pleased with it. Unfortunetly it had a fault with the DVD player the first time we used it but Avtex collected it on the Monday and it was returned to us on the Friday - turned out to be a belt that had slipped. Have not had any troubles with it since. Runs of 12V or 240V no problems.

Well that`s our 13th year & still loving it.
Avtex

Have to say we also have an Avtex, yes it is a tad more expensive than other makes but is an excellent bit of kit, picture quality is of course High Definition and the sound quality is excellent something you don`t get in the cheaper TV`s.
As they say you get what you pay for and we are well pleased with the Avtex. :thumb:

Another vote for the Avtex, you won't be disapointed or find better, we looked at many before buying.

We have the Avtex W193D, and also a Akura 15.6" TV/DVD from Makro.

Both very good, but the Avtex is very very very good......
