Im a newbie.
Hey folks, I bought my first MH a few months ago (1990 Kontiki 6 berth) and time has come to replace the awning. I currently have a frontier MK 2 but the piping has come off the canvas and it no longer holds the rails for the sides to attach.

Whats a good replacement for it. The one I have is 4.1m in length.

Thanks

Hi, we have the same - Kon-Tiki 640/6 six berth and ours has an Omnistor 4000s wind out awning. It's been a good one and shading from the red hot sun under it as we speak - reliable but basic awning.

There's one of them on the Autotrail next to us and very plush it is too. He has a safari style sides and front but it didn't come cheap I bet.

several £000's the fiamma zip, heavy, takes time to put up ( like most full awnings but real smart and huge space when up.

I thought the zip ones were supposed to be very quick and easy to put up. Maybe im wrong.

replacement awning

Hi, I have just helped someone with a zip awning, not for me thank you, just stick to a normal awning as the zip system looks good but is flimsy and takes longer to erect, plenty of awnings for sale used and at a good price, look on UK campsites web page, its free to join, regards H::bigsmile:
