I have a Renault Master which has twice gone into limp mode and has put warning lights on the dash indicating water in the fuel. I have used the tank of fuel and replaced the filter but I have had it go into limp mode again showing the same warning lights. I can get it to clear by turning the engine off and back on which then puts everything back to normal. Anybody else had these Symptoms?

The sensor is normally in the base of the fuel filter. Might be worth changing it

I don't seem to have a sensor in the base

I had similar problem, engine went into limp mode, no warning lights, stopped at services, all clear on restart.
Ran ok for 2 years then had similar problem this year, AA reackoned EGR fault, dissconected electrics to EGR and van runs fine.
Search Renault forums and limp mode - electrical problems are common fault.
    Good luck
