Removing white water marks from wood (1 Viewer)

A Woosh bang
Had a horrible white water mark on our teak dining table .. tried polish and teak oil to little effect.. then found this tip on the net .. must say I was sceptical..

Using a piece of lint free cloth ( old T shirt ) and a med hot iron.. lay on mark and iron over .. took about 5 mins and the mark was gone .. astounding.. as if it had never been there.. ::bigsmile:

Nice one Jim.

A tip from years ago to remove white marks caused by placing a hot vessel on polished wood is to make a paste from cigar ash and rub that in. Much less healthy than a hot iron though :Smile:

Veneer lifting, brown paper and hot iron generally melts the glue and sticks it back on
