    Hello All,
I thought I should reintroduce myself.
We sold our last motorhome in 2013 and I haven't been on here since. We got rid of it because we're foster carers and it was just getting to difficult to be away with children from new born to 17 year olds. We missed it straight away but got on with life, work and fostering.
Just recently though we decided to get another van. We're looking at the moment for a 6 berth. Hopefully in the next few months we'll get one.
We've seen a 2004 Bessacarr E795 that looks to tick most of the boxes. Any thoughts or comments on this van?

    All the best
    Cam

As always, caution, 6 berth does not mean you can carry 6 adults, far from it on weight grounds.

    Hi,
Thanks, fortunately there will be only 3 or 4 of us. We just want a bit of space.

OK. But even 4 x 100kg adults is a hell of a weight, check what they claim is available payload. It's just about the number one problem on sound vans.

Welcome back, the first Escapes had a low weight chassis, you can't have a tow bar fitted, but did have agreat payload, we travelled up to 3 adults 2 children and were never overweight when we checked. doubt we would have been any other time as we tended to weigh when we were carrying more than our normal.

Hi and welcome back, we used to foster and the kids we had loved going away in the van. One lad who still keeps in contact loved going to France with us for 4 weeks even thought the first week was hard for him as he'd never been on holiday before. He soon learned to relax and enjoy it and still talks about it to this day.

Yes, most of ours enjoyed it but it was just hard work with the babies really.
