Not cheap, but excellent quality, warm and friendly pub !! Very attractive and helpful lady behind the bar:thumb::thumb:
About 3 miles out of Shrewsbury on the Welshpool road ! The nearby garage has a good shop and LPG !!!

They also do take away Fish and Chips to eat in your van !!!

Terry, do you mean Blist's Hill at Ironbridge Gorge museum?

There's a lot more to that site than just the village, can spend all day there esp if it's a time when there are plenty of 'Victorians' on site! Just wear comfy shoes ......

Also on the A458 Welshpool road 3 mies out of Shrewsbury next to BP garage and shop is Safffron cottage Indian restaurant.They allow overnight stopover in large carpark if you have a meal. oh:

Have to agree. Also it's an ideal way to spend a day if you're m/h is visiting Dave Newell for any reason
