Hada freak accident in the motorhome when preparing to leave for the Newbury Show. As we have recently moved the motorhome was parked on the front lawn on some scaffolding boards. As I pulled off, one of the boards snapped and stuck in the ground. As I moved forward it ripped off the rear skirt and lights.
They were cracked and broken and the frame underneath was bent.
I managed a temporary repair with duct tape and grip fix and some old metal sheeting.
At Newbury there was a stand for Spitfire Garage of Southampton.
They do accident repairs, mot's and hab servicing.
They had a look at the damage and said yes they could repair it by plastic welding.
Dropped the motorhome off last Saturday and picked it up today.
I have to say their work is outstanding. Everything fully repaired including new rear lights both sides. Absolutely no sign of any previous damage either looking at it from the back or when you get underneath. All areas fully sealed up.
Very impressed.
Spoke to them about motorhome fun and said I would put a post up about them.
They have said that they will give a ten percent discount to anyone who says they are from motorhome fun.
