Windows ........ or rather, lack thereof.

Wonder what the sides are made of; fibreglass or metal? would it flex horribly? are windows as easy to fit as car sunroofs used to be? - but you did get a template with them before you got your drill and jigsaw out - didn't you? LOL

Can't remember ;)
Too expensive you can buy similar yr etc already converted from 14k to 17k--The windows are too high no shower/loo or fridge etc You would need to practically gut it and even then you do not have a blank canvas has it has holes cut in it to determine where you put what :winky:It would need at least 4k worth of new stuff to fit in it plus labour:cry:
sedge YES - you can always use the window to draw around :thumb:

since 08
its overpriced for a self build project

when you had finished the hole thing
it would cost you more than a complete and off the shelf m/h
you would find it hard to sell on other than as a self build
which would involve specialist insurance rules
conformity and gas/elec checks

if you want to self build in my opinion
you need a newish or very cheap van
as you rareley get back the purchase price
of the base and maybe a little for content and effort

traders wouldnt be interested as a trade in
obviousley my opinion

my self build cost three times what it cost
and that was with an ex ambulance base that cost

£ 10:00
money spent on all new internals amounted to
about £4000

Have a read here( Link Removed )Tofo and see what I spent (7.5k plus 2.5k on vehicle) and I do not think I went overboard on spec :Eeek: I have always shown a profit on all my self builds but I may have kept this one too long, but once I get the go ahead from the boss we shall see ::bigsmile: If I got the said go ahead it would be on ebay in a flash ,but I must admit at the moment I would be disappointed if it did not make a small profit  but then again it could loose a little.
