I thought this was interesting, how to read the info on your tyres, especially the date of manufacture. Hope it hasn't been posted before.

The only item not on the chart is the value of the Load Index
in the example it is 95 .. see chart = 690kg

I had 6 year old tyres with plenty of thread on them , they both delaminated causing a lot of damage to my caravan. I did not know about changing tyres that are over 5 years old
