Re-importing a vehicle. (1 Viewer)

Eight years ago we "permanently" exported our motorbike to France, re-registering it there.

We would now like to bring it back to the UK and, again, re-register it here.

Has anyone any experience of doing similar and can offer any tips?

Would be the same as importing any s/h motor vehicle. Even though there is no vat liability you will need to inform HMRC and get a NOVA reference then apply for registration to DVLA.
You can request an import pack on the DVLA website it gives you most of the info and forms you need for both new and used vehicles.
