Re Dellwood and Barbara (1 Viewer)

Hi all, a little while ago I was talking to several people who said if it were possible in 2014 we would like to meet up somewhere near Dellwood so that we could see them even if only for the day....

I know Keith was one of the people, and Laneside if they were in the country close by, but I cannot remember who the others were. If anyone can help please let me know one way or another so that I can try and sort something. Many thanks. Joy

Hi all, due to my own circumstances it would hopefully be in warmer weather. It wouldn't be a meet as such ... just find a site close by and us all book in so Dixon and Barbara could join us hopefully.

Sue as stated it is near Newcastle... I will pass everyone's messages on to them as I am sure it will mean a lot to them, especially Barbara. I will let you know once things are more certain. Thank you. Joy x

Joy, Bill and Chris may be in a better position to tell you where to go, last time we met up with Dick and Barbara they came to Whitby, but Alnwick is close to where they live. We would also like to be included please if you plan on arranging something up there. I have the phone number for the club at Alnwick if you need it.

Had really long conversation with Dixon... He has said he would love to see you all and is working towards perhaps getting a smaller van but one with a large door opening so that he can get Barbara's wheelchair in it. He is struggling to drive at the moment with his back trouble and he has lost a lot lot lot lot of weight which is good for his diabetes but once he is sorted he would love for them to meet up ....
