Morning all,
Recently experienced having to replace one of the HELLA spot / headlamps on the motorhome. First tip...try Mill Auto dealer for replacement half the price of certain nameless dealers. The position of the lamps makes them venerable to stone strikes...
Does anyone make a acrylic headlight shield.. not the film type or beam defector a visor which could be positioned by velcro for easy removal..

So far I have be unable to locate anything..However a manufacturer has offered to make if the was a significant demand...Any takers??

I realise that you were not looking for film but you might be interested to learn that because of reports of exploding headlights on Hymer A Class Motorhomes I fitted mine with http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/ protective clear film. 35,00 miles later Imhave not had a problem. You can't tell that film had been applied. Used on race cars to,prevent light shattering from stones etc.

Might be worth consideration.
