Hi...has anyone with a Rapido 9048df or similar, experienced water ingress into the lower storage lockers. Just noticed rusty patches on some bags when I took them out ready for a spring clean. Need to treat the rust inside and out and see if I can prevent the water getting in. Any ideas welcome. Cheers

We had the same problem. I think the rubber seals did were not tight enough against the black plastic part of the locker and I know one owner replaced the seals himself, a pretty simple job I seem to remember. I did not replace our seals as I found it only happened if driving in very heavy rain. I drilled a small hole in the lowest part of the lockers and I haven't had a problem since. Any moisture finds its way out and I keep nothing on the lower sections that would be harmed by damp.

The seals and mating surfaces are available from motor trimmers and I would think you can get them on Ebay too.
