We stopped off in Jedbrough yesterday but was't enough space in carpark for our m/h and toad so we are now on a ths at Bridge of Allan for a few days and will try Jedburgh again on our way back South in a few weeks.

It looks like we may have a damp day here today but hey ho, I'm sure we will find something to do, probably in Stirling.:thumb:

We have seen a several Mhomes with toads since being up here, maybe our paths crossed!

I'm sorry, have only just seen your post now we are back at Jedbrugh with a decent wifi.

We may well have crossed paths as have been many places over the last few weeks towing our little maroon Ford Ka. Up the East as far as John O'Groats, across to Durness, down the West coast to Oban and now back down south.

We have just returned home today after just over a month away, van performed faultlessly except for a blown bulb in the bathroom, needs a good clean and debugging now though.
Had a great trip, weather mostly OK, some rain, but we never actually got wet ourselves, went right up to John OG , across the top then down the western islesto Mull, definately our favourite place of the whole trip, met some wonderful helpful people, saw some awesome scenery, got carted off to hospital, came back via Yorkshire and Rutland Water, lots of driving, but worth it!.

Yes. We've been journeying between Tees-side and Derbyshire these last two weeks and always been accompanied by the sun.

Dunno what's happened to take sun to Cornwall though - influx of English people perhaps?

Cold and cloudy with a bit of rain in the air at Portsoy, between Inverness and Aberdeen. Weather a bit unusual as the wind is coming from the NW, should be warmer. But fascinating area and very friendly folk. Much activity the last few days here in Portsoy as they prepare for the traditional boat festival next weekend.
