On the local ITV news today, Blundeston prison in Suffolk has closed, nothing new there then, but wait, the government spent in excess of £10m on the place in the previous 2 years before the closure, 120 jobs lost , cost to local economy, who knows?, the prison has been recognised as well short of it's sell by date, oh, and 500 prisoners rehoused elsewhere, at what cost! :Angry:

They could soon get the cash back by pulling over and fining foreigners at Harwich for not having beam convertors!

G4S or some other business will no doubt be buying it up cheap and reopening it within months. more millions of taxpayers money being syphoned off by the greedy few in power
