I have a Transit Duetto it has a Ford Radio/Cd player with out the changer. I bought off e-bay a changer and lead does it not work - the lead is off a sierra it doesnt seem to be compatable with my head set?
Any idea's desparate to have it going for Stratford - what a pain!

Been to Halfwitts they ain't got a clue.
how many wires would normally come out of the changer? would speaker wires come out from there?
The wiring loom I got off e-bay plugs into the changer ok but then on the way back to the unit it splits to two different conectors one fits the unit the other doesnt.
I cant get the unit to see the changer. What a pain in the ass.

I used to have a Mondeo which had a Kenwood autochanger linked to the Ford radio. The wiring went through a small box that was labelled as an "interface for Ford 5/6/7000RDS to Kenwood Disc Changer". This had been fitted by the Ford dealer. Maybe your local Ford dealer could help...
