Any funster out there who's dog and lifelong friend has passed away,we now know how they must feel, this is TINA who was 17 years old,we always thought she would last for ever but we were fooling ourselves, funsters might
recognise her from her photo the wee old age pensioner that was slow but never gave on her walks about the sites, you don't realise how close you get to your dog until the're gone ,sorry for being so morbid this is supposed
to be a fun site,i just thought it would be fitting for her as a lot of people new her from our travels thanks, jabbaman R.I.P. TINA XX :Sad:

Sorry to hear of your loss of a best pal, they really do become so close to their human friends and it is hard to imagine life without them.

Condolences from me too. They are family & it's the hardest part of being an animal lover, accepting that we live longer than they do and we have tough decisions to make.

She had a long and happy life with you, and no dog asks for more than that.

so sorry to hear that Tina has passed away.

She had a good life and her owners loved her which is more than many animals these days have.

Very hard to lose a pet no matter how expected it may be. She had a long and good life with you and that's all you can give them while they're here.

Oh that is so sad. It is so heartbreaking when they leave us as when they are alive they fill our lives but leave such a big hole when they are gone.
RIP Tina

A whole year!
My lovely Blake died last Sunday.....He was only 8.....God it's hard without him...So know exactly how your feeling.

Wherever I go i'm at a loss without my little shadow..even putting the washing out is hard!!

I have another dog....but we don't have the same bond....he's totally lost too...so working hard to cheer him up.....

It's devastating...& you still get those that think your totally mad!! of the, "it's only a dog" brigade
I pity them....for not having the "privilege" of unconditional love..........How lucky are we to share these short but lovely years.................

My thoughts are with you..............

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. Her bright eyes are intent; Her eager body quivers. Suddenly she begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, her legs carrying her faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

God bless you I know just how you feel x
