Its a very good gesture by Southdown's, as a result, they are now on my list of places to visit come van replacement time!
I am not knocking their levels of service, but it was an odd diagnosis to come up with without having access to the Webasto service equipment.
I have seen this equipment in use when we had an ECU fault with our unit. It was fantastic kit and it allowed monitoring of all the heaters components whilst the unit operated.
I have no doubt, it will be sorted by the Webasto service centre and I am really impressed with Southdown's service levels.

Electrical connections can deteriorate with age however and the Dualtop is very prone to failure when the supply voltage is too low.
I had to rewire ours due to the Chausson wiring being inadequate for the job in hand.

Please come and find us at Lincoln, there is quite a bit of knowledge that I have gained through running ours that I am all too pleased to pass on.

Hope it all goes well for you.
