Is that new to you, or brand new?
Suppliers have to provide the road tax on new vehicles, most will fill your first tank for you, the jury seems to be out regarding puncture safe
I suppose it is more a case of new to you, in which case it sounds pretty much break even
They do, but this is an "extended" warranty.I believe a dealer has to by law provide a warranty so shouldn't be charging you again for it.

I've used puncture proof on all my vehicles for the last 15 year. Just do it myself as it's very simply. Last car cost £34 for the liquid and the motorhome was £42. Never had a puncture but on two occasions discovered nails in the tyre. Tyres stay cooler and the pressures remain stable.

We had ours done at a motorhome showI think I got it that its a positive to have done but is it cheaper at any garage or by the dealer?
Thanks
I had one of my transmitters indicate a flat when it wasn't. It only happened once and just needed the inside of the transmitter cleaning out. The answer is that it can interfere but usually doesn't.It would be interesting to know if it interferes with TPMS. I know that 'slime' gunks up cycle valves. Anyone know ?

How did you clean the inside of the transmitter?I had one of my transmitters indicate a flat when it wasn't. It only happened once and just needed the inside of the transmitter cleaning out. The answer is that it can interfere but usually doesn't.
Bit of kitchen roll dampened with meths. As I said its only happened once, the tyre valves are a fair bit away from the periphery of the tyre so the gunk is not likely to get in there. Tyrepal have to cover themselves though, hence the instruction not to use.FJmike said:How did you clean the inside of the transmitter?
