Planning our first week away this year - Scotland in May - and I'd like to start with a short hop on the Friday as we'll be leaving quite late. I was thinking a pub stopover may be nice, near Keilder, or in the Borders.

I've googled and there's a few sites which list pub stopovers but not many in these areas - can anyone recommend anything? Either a good pub or a good internet source?

Thanks in anticipation of the usual help

Mike

Most pubs will allow you to park overnight in their car park as long as you ask permission from the manager.

It always helps if you tell them that you will be eating there.
