pub stopover for tomorrow night wanted (1 Viewer)

Anyone got any suggestions - looking for a stopover in a pub carpark for tomorrow night - looking at North Oxfordshire/East Northamtonshire/Warwickshire/ South Liecestershire/North Gloucestershire type area, be great if in a town i.e. more than the one pub, or a pub with saterday night entertainment. Any help/pointers appreciated

stayed in stow on the wold before now in the coach park no probs just walk in to town :thumb:

You could try The Wise Alderman in Kidlington just off the A34 Oxford. There is also a Caravan Club CL over the road called Lane End. 10 minute walk and you have a choice of all the pubs in Kidlington.

hi, just north of oxford on a 34 north bound go past the park and ride, about a mile further on ther is a hump back bridge and pub is immidiatly on left, sorry cant remember name,right next to canal, stayed 4 times this year, its great,

Could it be the Alderman. It is next to the canal close to the airport.

Thanks for the loverly suggestions - I actually stayed in Rugby in the end - but will definately try out Kidlington at some point in the near future!
